I looked at the trap, Ray!

I've been a Ghostbusters fan for as long as I can remember, it's one of the greatest films ever made. I've been lucky enough to meet some of the cast and visit some of the filming locations so what is about to follow is my adventures of me indulging in my love for Ghostbusters.

Here I am with Dan Aykroyd who played Ghostbuster Ray Stantz in Gerry's Wine & Spirits shop in Soho London

I was fortunate enough to meet Ernie Hudson who plays Winston Zeddemore at a convention in Birmingham and got a photo with him and an ECTO-1

At the London Film and Comic 2015 I had the honour of meeting one of the greatest actresses of our time, Sigourney Weaver. Oh Zuulie, you nut!

This is me with Mary Ellen Trainor who had a small part playing the Mother of the kid whose Birthday party Ray & Winston were hired to make an appearance at to earn a few bucks in Ghostbusters II

Here I am at Collectormania in Milton Keynes with William Atherton who played the dickless Walter Peck.

I met Slavtiza Jovan who played Gozer The Gozerian at The London Film & Comic Con 2014. "Choose the form of the destructor!"

I also met Michael Ensign at LFCC 2014, he played the Hotel Manager of the Sedgewick Hotel. He was a very nice chap and pleasure to talk to.

There was an event on in 2017 which I was unable to make but it had Jennifer Runyon as a guest. My friend Lee was kind enough to get her autograph for me (Thanks pal!) And he took this photo of her signing.

At For The Love of Sci Fi in Manchester which took place in December 2018 I met Ray Parker Jr, the man who sings the iconic Ghostbusters theme song......Who ya gonna call?

At the end of April 2014 I spent the weekend in New York and there was only really one thing that simply had to be done without question and that was to go around visiting Ghostbusters filming locations. I'll show a screen grab of a scene first followed by my visit to the scene.

Columbia University

Chillin' like Bill Murray

Still on the campus of Columbia Univesity

The New York Public Library

Dana's Apartment, Spook Central. Nobody steps on a church in my town.

The fountain in the Lincoln Centre

The Ghostbusters Fire House!

Had to go to the top of the Rockefeller Centre to get this view

And to the bottom of the Rockefeller Centre to get this one

This is just outside the south west corner of Central Park

This water fountain statue is in Central Park, I have to confess this wasn't a planned visit and we stumbled across it by accident ;)

The museum that houses the Vigo painting in Ghostbusters II

The Statue of Liberty, didn't have any mood slime to make it walk though.

This is a painting on the side walk outside of the Ghostbusters firehouse
