Cards with the 'tards. Who could beat a night of cards, chips, dips and dorks?

The last film I mentioned on the last page Heaven Help Us was the first film that Patrick Dempsey had a part in. Now, I love Patrick Dempsey and he's one of those guys that deserves his own 80's teen movie page for his contributions to this fantastic genre.

The first Patrick Dempsey 80's teen film I'm going to list is one that I picked up randomly while searching HMV many many years ago and blind bought it, had no clue what is was about apart from the description on the back of the DVD cover. This film has turned out to be one of my favourites and I've now seen it an endless amount of times.

31) Can't Buy Me Love

Other Patrick Dempsey 80's teen films include :-

32) Happy Together

33) Loverboy

(I can't find a trailer on YouTube to embed so here's a link to another website with the trailer for it)

34) Some Girls

35) Meatballs III: Summer Job

Part 8 coming Soon..................

I guess you guys aren't ready for that yet... But your kids are gonna love it.

80's teen movies weren't always set in the 80's, there were a pretty good few that were set in the 50's/60's I mentioned one before when I was talking about Brat Pack movies, The Outsiders.

One of the most popular ones and possibly one of the most popular 80's films of all time falls in to this category. It could be argued that it is a straight up science fiction comedy but I think I contains enough elements to make it a teen film. The film I'm talking about is

26) Back To The Future

Another film with a time travel element to it and totally worth watching just to see a young Nicolas Cage & Jim Carey du-wopping in a very entertaining scene.

27) Peggy sue Got married

Other 80's teen film set in the 50's/60's include :-

28) Mischief

29) Porky's

30) Heaven Help Us

An innocent girl, a harmless drive. What could possibly go wrong?

In the 80's there was an acting duo who made a bunch a movies together known as the 2 Coreys, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. Pretty much any 80's film that has one of Coreys in it is worth a watch. The Goonies and Silver Bullet are a couple of my favourite films of all time.

80's teen films that the 2 Coreys were in together are

22) License To Drive

23) Dream A Little Dream

The next one is more teen horror, the original teen vampire flick

24) The Lost Boys

While Feldman tended to star in the more mainstream blockbusters such as Gremlins, Stand By Me, The Goonies and The ''Burbs. Haim actually has this beauty of a teen film as a part of his filmography.

25) Lucas
